Melamine Surfaces

Care Guide Melamine

Everyday cleaning

✓ Wipe with warm, soapy water on a soft damp cloth.

✓ Follow all cleaning with a streak free glass cleaner on a soft cloth. This will remove residue and give the best results.

✓ Apply cleaning products to the cloth rather than directly onto the surface being cleaned.

Textured finishes

e.g. Pearl, Puregrain and Woodgrain

✓ Periodic use of a soft brush may be necessary for the removal of dirt build-ups and residues left by some spray cleaners.

Preventing damage

✓ Wipe up spills as soon as possible. Rinse with cold water, wipe dry, then apply methylated spirits and wipe dry again. Refer to manufacturer’s cleaning instructions for further details.

✗ Never use abrasive cleaning products such as:

• Jif
• Ajax
• Chemico
• Brasso
• oven cleaner
• neat Janola
• wire wool / scourer pads
• sandpaper

Cleaning stains and marks

✓ After cleaning, use a streak free glass cleaner to remove any residue.
